ABOUT US

Digitalization in Healthcare

The digital transformation is opening up many new areas of activity for players in the healthcare industry and is also linked to issues of overarching social relevance. Innovative ways of organizing healthcare through the use of artificial intelligence, robotics, or 3D printing offer growth and design potential for companies. Overall, maintaining competitiveness, especially in international comparison, requires innovation and adaptability on the part of players and institutions in the healthcare industry.

The purpose of ATLAS

“Science-based solutions for practical challenges in the digital transformation of the healthcare industry”

The ATLAS research project started in October 2019 and, after three successful years, was extended in the summer of 2022 for another five years until 2027.

Funded by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia
