Our research group “AI-guided Therapies” works on cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) methods covering the whole pipeline from medical data processing to bringing medical information into the Operation Room (OR). Besides classical navigation approaches, we are also work within the whole Mixed Reality (MR) spectrum, from Augmented Reality (AR) to a complete immersion via Virtual Reality (VR).

We are currently in the process of setting up a comprehensive Mixed Reality infrastructure, consisting of AR devices, like the Microsoft HoloLens 2, VR devices, like the HTC Vive Pro, optical and electromagnetic navigation systems, 3D tracking systems, 3D scanner and printers, robotic devices, phantoms, etc.
