German Bionic has developed the Exia, the world’s most powerful active, connected exoskeleton that integrates robotics, AI/ML, and IoT. It protects the lower back during lifting and awkward postures of up to 38 kg, reduces fatigue while walking, and uses self-learning AI to adapt to individual movement patterns and workplace conditions. Sensor-based data analysis enables preventive ergonomic assessments.

In the healthcare and nursing sector, the system human-centrically transforms physically demanding tasks: it enhances occupational safety, protects the health of caregivers, strengthens human capabilities, and helps preserve joy in the profession.
